Persons Sentenced to Jail Time
Individuals required to serve Court Ordered jail sentences should make contact with the Allamakee County Jail at 563-568-4521 to schedule a stay.
Your information (name, current address, telephone number and email if available) will be needed.
Persons who have tested positive for COVID-19 and are currently on isolation or persons having symptoms of COVID-19 will not be accepted until cleared medically to be jailed.
A person who is sentenced by a Court to jail time, may serve their sentence in the Allamakee County subject to the rules of the Allamakee County Jail. The sentenced individual shall make contact with the Allamakee County Jail to schedule an intake date prior to beginning their sentence. Any individual that is sentenced to jail time, are subject to room and board fees. Please read the documents below.

- $50.00 per day Sentenced from Other County with Work Release Privileges
Plus other expenses incurred by the inmate during incarceration (ie. medical, dental, etc.)

Work Release Inmate
Any person granted work release privileges at the time of sentencing may make an application for work release prior to being released for work from the Allamakee County Jail. Work release applicants shall complete an Application for Work Release and Rules form and return this form to the Allamakee County Jail.
ANY VIOLATION OF WORK RELEASE RULES WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE SUSPENSION OF WORK RELEASE PRIVILEGES
