The Allamakee County Board of Supervisors is seeking applications for the position of Allamakee County Zoning Administrator. Candidates for this position will have a degree with coursework in planning or a related field or atleast 2 years experience in municipal or county zoning and floodplain management or a related field. A comprehensive knowledge of code enforcement principles, community planning and floodplain regulations is necessary. The salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. County Employment Application 

Allamakee County Secondary Road Department is taking applications for an Equipment Operator/MM II who will work mainly out of the Dorchester Shop operating various equipment, dump trucks and doing road maintenance. Applicants shall possess a valid Class B CDL with at least 2 years experience operating and maintaining road construction equipment. Beneficial to have commercial pesticide applicators license. Required to live within Allamakee County within 90 days of hire for emergency call out situations.  Successful applicant subject to pre-employment and random drug/alcohol/physical testing.  Wage $20.41-$22.68 per hour plus benefits DOQ.
