ALLAMAKEE COUNTY SHERIFF HIRING

E911 DISPATCHER / CORRECTIONS OFFICER

The Allamakee County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for the postion of E911/Dispatcher / Corrections Officer. This postition will involve cross training in 911 dispatching and corrections. Duties will include dispatching Sheriff/Police, Fire and Emergency Medical Services to emergency and non-emergency service calls. Other duties include providing for the care, safety and security of inmates in the county jail.

Benefits: Paid health insurance, cafeteria plan, paid vacation, Iowa Public Employees Retirement System (IPERS), shift differential pay.

EQUIPMENT OPERATOR/MM II

 

Allamakee County Secondary Road Department is taking

applications for an Equipment Operators/MM II who will work mainly out of the Waterville Shop operating motor graders, endloaders, dump trucks and doing road maintenance. Applicants shall possess a valid Class A or B CDL with at least 2 years experience operating and maintaining road construction equipment.  Required to live within Allamakee County within 90 days of hire for emergency call out situations.  Successful applicants subject to pre-employment and random drug/alcohol/physical testing.  Wage $21.69-$24.10 per hour plus benefits DOQ.
