Mission

It is the Conservation Foundation to assist, develop, maintain, promote, educate and preserve the conservation life in the community of Allamakee county. We thrive on the past and future opportunities, that the foundation brings to Allamakee County.
The Allamakee Foundation is building on yesterday, today, and tomorrows future. 

Foundation Vision

  • Make available, to the inhabitants of the county, public museums, parks, preserves, parkways, playgrounds, recreational centers, environmental educational opportunities, county forest, wildlife and other conservation areas
  • To promote and preserve the health and general welfare of the people
  • To encourage the orderly development and conservation of natural resources
  • To cultivate good citizenship by providing adequate programs of public recreation
  • To encourage charitable giving, to give back to the county Identify the demand and priorities in
  • Allamakee county and provide financial support to address them.
  • Educate the community on protecting, preserving and enhancing the great County of Allamakee
